The project
Creating Thai coffee “Thai Doi Nhau Va Vi Ban Doi Sharng Kao Ed Eak Bork” become a high standard of coffee in the world.


Objective

1. To create Thai coffee from the north of Thailand, Sheang Rai province “Thai Doi Nhau Va Vi Ban Doi Sharng Kao Ed Ead Bork” become the high standard of coffee in the world.
2. To be a navigate project in order to develop Thai coffee from the south of Thailand at Ban Saranlom, Tungkar, Shum Porn province “Thai Pag Tai Bork” become to the highest standard of the world of coffee.
3. To be a navigate project in order to develop green tea from the northeast of Thailand at Ban Yangpattana, Ban Yang, Lamplaimard, Burirum province “Sha Keaw Bai Mon Bork” become the highest standard.
4. To increase the selling price of coffee and green tea twice as much to be a gift for the framers.

The course and development

Ban Doi Sharng, Va Vi, Mea Saruay, Sheang Rai province, which was located on the mountain high about 1,200 – 1,800 meters from sea level, was the one of the most suitable area in the world to grow coffee tree. In the past, this area was growing opuim and cannabis but afterwards they were eliminated. Later on, the farmers had turned to grow the coffee until now.

In the present, the hill tribes such as Lee Sor (Ar Khar), Jeen Hau, and Mu Sau stay together total about 800 houses. They have a chief of a village as a village headman Mr. Sushard Tami, Lee Sor race. Many of them are the professional for growing Arabica coffee race. Furthermore, about 20 years ago, they also grow Macardemia, Chinese Tea, Ginger, Peach, Persummon, and Plum. They are the one of high quality of raw material in the world. In 2000, The Plantation and Farm Design (Thailand) Co.,Ltd., which developed Banriecoffee, began to create Thai brand name and Thai traditional to be accected in worldwide by had been bought the coffee bean about 8,000 kilos from Va Vi district to keep in the warehouse then tried to find a unique qualification and process in order to develop the name “Banriecoffee 1,200 or Thai Va Vi” but it was not success. The project was stopped because of unaccepted in Thai brand name so the coffee bean were keepped about 4 years.

Now Thai brand name is more accept than the past, therefore, in order to continue the company's mission that is, trying to create Thai brand name to be accepted in worldwide and applying Thai traditional into business cycle, he try to make this project go on.


 

Time period

1. Creating Thai brand name to be accepted in worldwide within 2 years. Beginning on February 26, 2004 until February 25, 2006.
2. Maintaining the coffee's reputation to be the best in the world up to 50 years. Beginning on February 25, 2006 until year 2056. It will be honored within living period of 1,000 guests and promising to memorize it give to our descendants to be their heritage from generation to generation.
